Ssekandi Gonzagga

Gonzagga is an associate in our Dispute Resolution team with over 6 years’ experience specialising in commercial dispute resolution, election petitions, land transactions, criminal law, transport and logistics, general corporate commercial law, taxation and banking and finance law. Prior to joining Ortus, Gonzagga worked with ENSafrica Advocates and OSH Advocates where he was responsible for handling and advising the firm’s clients on their commercial, corporate and regulatory disputes in various sectors including energy and natural resources, infrastructure and construction, telecommunication, Banking, Insurance among others.

Gonzagga is an advocate of the High Court of Uganda and has handled various matters relating to multinational and local companies. He has successfully defended clients in Election Petitions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Laws (Hons) – Uganda Christian University
• Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice – Law Development Centre
• Certificate in Trial Advocacy – Justice Advocacy Africa
