Evelyn Zawedde

Evelyn is an Associate at Ortus Advocates in the Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure department with Seven (7) years’ experience in structuring, negotiation and documentation of natural resource projects and related financings.  

She has a wealth of experience in handling Conveyancing matters including conducting negotiations, preparing contracts and closing real estate transactions. Evelyn has acted for several clients in acquisitions of property for project development and developing transaction completion documents.

Evelyn is an Advocate of the High Court of both Uganda and Kenya and all Courts Subordinate thereto. She is a member of the Uganda Law Society, Kenya Law Society and the East African Law Society.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (Hons) –  Uganda Christian University 
• Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice – Kenya Law School

Selected Experience 

• Advised a consortium of companies structuring a transportation project to operate within the Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area under a PPP arrangement.
